My Solid Plan

Hopefully nothing goes wrong! So as of now, I have what I call my plan if nothing goes wrong. Which in my opinion is impossible but I love to believe. Lets get the base started off with which is the schedule. I want a good time frame of around 2-3 weeks at most for filming and editing. I want to do things chronologically and want everything to go well. Schedule: January 26-31st: Get Ready to begin; organization! February 1st: Filming Begins February 7th: Filming Ends February 8th: Editing Begins February 20-22th: Finish editing! As everyone knows, things can change but this is the schdule I want to follow, since it will help me be organized.  Location: As of now there will be one location(bedroom) and possibly 2-3 others. One of those would be the park, beach, or a car, it truly depends on the screenplay. Participants: I am going to ask people for help since I can't fully do it on my own. Again this depends on how the story goes but possibly around 5 people have a chance of helpi

BOOM Directed by Nikita Grushin, he created such a amazing atmoshpere and the film is immersive. The first thing I noticed when I watched it was how quiet it was when it wasn't. Which to me makes things truly weird and tense. This one releys on diegetic sounds but at times those sounds are enhanced. For instance, in the food court, it is filled with close ups of people eating but those sounds are enhanced to be louder. That makes me truly uncomfortable. The use of sounds to make everyone tense is common in thrillers since jumpscares aren't are thing they reley on. The beginning of the film there is a bit of dialogue which does give a bit of context. But throughout the film you can see he is clearly bothered by something  Using over shoulder shots to show text messages and medium close up shots of what appears to be random people are plagued throughout. Since nothing really happens throughout tension for that builds until of course explosions are heard, but they are only fir

Love and Hate with water The short film is 10 minutes long and wes directed by David and Sam Cutler-Kreutz. This film releys on diegetic sound. The splashing of the water and the footsteps all come from pre-editing. There is also a part of the film where it is loud which distracting and intense. Sort of makes you uncomfortable due to the scene before. Extreme Close ups and medium shots are all used to show whats happening which is common in thriller due to its goal. The scenes in the water are the most notable due to how long they are and how much they build suspense. The use of trashing water and close ups, and the near death emotions are all there. The camera is also not still, its tracking the person on how frantic they are. These scenes again are long which build tension, and this also scene when two characters fight in the grass. Especially when they are running, a tracking shot is used, and the camera is frantic; its not still. The costumes are very masculine, the majority are
