My thoughts on editing!

I made it!

Let me get this straight, the program I am using is Adobe Premiere Pro 2023. It's a amazing software to edit with and overall do countless of things with the software. When I downloaded, to say the least I was naive. Bare in mind that I never have used this software ever. I even thought "I am Adobe Photoshop certified I should be fine" the whole time while downloading Premiere Pro since it is made by the same company. I was wrong! I struggled the past couple of days. I had to look up tutorials on the simplest things. Things like the scale of the video, which I didn't know you had to do until I imported all the footage. I tried to look for loop holes but I couldn't find any viable ones that would work. So while editing the shots together I had to look up a couple of things so this whole thing can come together and actually work.

Since I looked up tutorials on YouTube and other platforms I missed the thing that would torment me for 30 minutes. There was this thing called the Effects Control Panel, it is easily the thing that is the most important panel. I looked for it for 20 minutes and I couldn't find it! So I looked on the internet and the information was outdated. So, I took the long way; go on Adobe Photoshop and see where all these panels are. I felt so demoralized right after because it was right in front of me the whole time. I just had to click windows and Effects Control. I still think of it and it's the bane of my existence now! I will forever remember where this panel is. After from this point, everything well, sometimes there was things I needed to look up but luckily I found the Effects Control Panel so it made things 10 times more easier.

I have a new respect for editors now. I found this a nice learning experience and I will forever remember it since it brought me multiple troubles along the way.

Signing Off,

Kay.
