How long did it take?

Filming didn't take that long but we ran into a couple of problems with it to begin with. The first one is that we didn't finish. All of us had set the date to film, some of us couldn't make it due to personaly reasons or we were just sick. Along with other things, it fell through, which is epexcted we aren't going to lie. We both knew something like this would happen so we switched up a couple of things. The scenes in the park will only be with 2 people and not the 4. Since some of us couldn't make it like I said, we had no choice to change the script. As of now filming will continue and editing will continue since we still have some footage. The filming is to expected to finish Wednesday, which would be March 29th and editing will finish March 30th. We just added a couple of days to film, for the missing footage and just in case other problems showed up again.

Since we did film with just 2 people, lets make a quick recap. Some of shots we did do was an establishing shot, panning shot, 2 person shot and among others. We filmed these scenes in around an hour, which was really nice, since we were all busy that day for the ones who showed up. We took around possibly 2 takes for each of shots which saves us a lot of time of going through needless footage to pick the best ones. We got the ones we want pretty easily and we communicated really well. Along with our thoughts of the shots and what we could to improve it. We also helped each other alot. Espically giving a thought to editing. Editing is difficult, so we tried to make it easier on our selves when it came to editing because it is no easy task. 

We of course have the remaining of scenes to film and they aren't diffcult exacept for some. There is one scene will are kind of nervous about but we talked about it and agreed on it, so let's hope that turns out nice in post. Lets hope it is all smooth sailing from this point on.

Storyboard

My storyboard of the girl next door! Scene 1: This will be the first scene and this is where the main actor will appear. It will fade in from black to sync with the audio since it also fades in. It will be at eye level and it will be a close up to show to emphases the subject's eyes because of a lyric "red eyes". The set will be a road in order to cut into the next scene. Scene 2: After it cuts away from the close up we move into a medium long shot at eye level. The actor will be drinking a cherry coke and be stumbling along the road. The medium long shot is to show that she is still wearing the same clothes according to the lyrics. Scene 3: This scene she is up against the bedroom door looking distress. This will be at eye level and it will start at as a close up then zoom out in order to transition into the next scene. Almost!

We are almost done! As of writing this we are almost finished. We had completed filming around a week ago. Now we are so close to finish editing. Like we said previously, we were to continue adding the footage together so then we can make it easier when it came to transitions and audio. We have put in the title cards, and are only missing a few. For the title cards that we have done, we have added transitions for a couple to the title cards and only a footage is left to edit and put together. Right now we are moving things around, because we are slightly worried about the time limit but so far we haven't crossed it. But again there is that slight worry! We do have a way around it if it were to happen. We have sort of an idea of which scenes we can cut from the footage. We also can speed up footage and cut down some footage in order to make time.
