After through much difficulty my partner and I have completed out short film. Didn't goes as plan, but we had to push through. We are plesantly surpised and happy about the end result.

A car on a road, and trees in a bunch, greyish brown background and grey background with a title card. 3. What connotations do these images carry? It is slowed to makes you feel anxiety. The sequence is gives you anxiety and suspense that you want to wait until it stops. 4. How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outset? By putting up a very hazy scene throughout the introduction, the movie creates a sense of the genre. It has a hazy beginning that makes viewers uncertain of what is happening and what is happening. My storyboard of the girl next door! Scene 1: This will be the first scene and this is where the main actor will appear. It will fade in from black to sync with the audio since it also fades in. It will be at eye level and it will be a close up to show to emphases the subject's eyes because of a lyric "red eyes". The set will be a road in order to cut into the next scene. Scene 2: After it cuts away from the close up we move into a medium long shot at eye level. The actor will be drinking a cherry coke and be stumbling along the road. The medium long shot is to show that she is still wearing the same clothes according to the lyrics. Scene 3: This scene she is up against the bedroom door looking distress. This will be at eye level and it will start at as a close up then zoom out in order to transition into the next scene. She is in this position because she is wondering about a certain thing, that thing being something unpleasant. Scene 4: The next scene will pan into her...
Time to analyze! Both films did an amazing job at conveying their story. The audio in La Jetée by Chris Maker helps the visuals of the film appear open. Using audio in short films will be a great aid since again you have a time frame. Using these aspects of films that is usually disregarded will be the key to convey emotions, help set the scene, and progress the plot. 12 Monkeys by Terry Gilliam is inspired by La Jetée which makes the plot intresting. 12 Monkeys uses a red hearing which creates a twist in the film. Right after we find out a majory revelation that makes the auidence in disbelief. 12 Monkeys took risks and told a story whether it can be compared to La Jetée is question due to La Jetée itself. Using sound will be a great help to me and fowarding the plot. I will be using it, and along with using red herrings possible or something in the same category.
